The right shampoo method for dandruff scalp

 Many people hesitate to wear black due to dead skin cells and dandruff concerns on their scalp. Especially during the change of seasons when the scalp's immunity is to decrease, you should pay attention to dandruff scalp care.

1. Identify your scalp type.

Even on the same dandruff scalp, the cause of dandruff varies depending on whether it is an oily or dry scalp, so it is important to properly identify your scalp type before managing dandruff.

2. Shampoo method for oily dandruff scalp.

Use a shampoo exclusively for oily skin that contains natural surfactants. 
Mold bacteria, which are considered the main cause of dandruff, multiply by eating the oiliness of the scalp. Therefore, in the case of oily dandruff scalp, it is recommended to use an oily shampoo that helps remove oil.
However, if you use a product containing synthetic surfactants for high cleaning power, it can irritate the scalp and cause excessive secretion of sebum, which can  worsen symptoms, so it is recommended to choose a product containing natural surfactants.

② When shampooing, massage lightly and gently with the tips of your fingers.
Massaging the scalp as if scratching off the scalp with fingernails to cleanse dead skin and dandruff can damage or irritate the scalp. When shampooing, use your fingertips to massage your scalp lightly and smoothly.

③ Use lukewarm water when shampooing.
Cold water can prevent oil and waste from washing cleanly, and hot water can damage or irritate the scalp and hair. It is recommended to use lukewarm water of about 37 degrees, similar to body temperature, to minimize scalp irritation and effectively remove waste matter.

① Using a slightly acidic shampoo with a pH range of 4.5 to 6.5
Since healthy scalp and hair are weakly acidic, it is recommended to use a weakly acidic shampoo to balance the pH of the scalp. Using a slightly acidic shampoo, only waste is removed while maintaining the acidic protective film of the scalp, maintaining moisture moisture in the dry scalp and hair.

② I wash my hair once a day 
If you wash your hair frequently, surfactants contained in shampoo can excessively wash away moistur and oil from your dry scalp, making it drier and worsening dandruff. Dry dandruff scalp has a lot of dandruff, son even if it feels uncomfortable, it is recommended to wash it once in the evening as much as possible to relieve dandruff symptoms.

③ After shampooing, use cold air to dry your scalp and hair thoroughly.
The hot wind in the dryer can make your scalp drier. Therefore, after shampooing, press down with a dry towel to remove enough moisture and dry it with cold air or an electric fan.
