How to Apply Sunstick Properly
In the past, sunblock was the trend, but recently, sun sticks that are portable, less sticky and don't touch are becoming popular among many people, including those with oily skin.
However, most people don't know how to use sun sticks, so sun sticks have less UV protection than sunscreen.
What is the right way to apply sunstick effectively?
1. Apply at least twice
Sunstick has excellent skin adhesion, so it doesn't come off easily, but you can't see a proper UV protection effect by applying it thinly once.
When you apply sunstick, you need to apply enough to create a thin layer on the surface of your skin.
Divide the face by forehead, cheeks, chin, etc. and apply it from the inside of the face to the outside of the face at least twice, and carefully apply the curved nose, cheekbone, forehead, etc.
2. Pat with your finger and wrap with your palm.
After applying the sunstick carefully, tap it lightly with your fingers and wrap it with your palm to increase the adhesion of the sunstick. Especially, when using base makeup products after applying sunstick, press lightly on the curved area so that the makeup doesn't stick out or clump.
3. Apply again every 2 to 3 hours
If you have applied sunstick carefully without missing any parts, you don't need to apply it any more during indoor activities, but it's better to apply sunstick every 2 to 3 hours because it can be erased due to sweat or the outside environment.
Especially in summer, when sebum and oily skin or sweat secretions are high, sun sticks should be applied more often because they are easier to remove, and it is recommended to use products with strong retention because they have waterproof or sweatproof functions.
4. Sterilize and manage with alcohol swaps
Sunstick is a form of applying the contents of the solid directly to the skin, so you have to take good care of your health.
Applying sun sticks exposed to external germs on your face can have a direct or indirect effect on your skin, which can cause skin trouble, so it is recommended to disinfect the surface that touches your skin with alcohol swap before applying the sun sticks.
Also, if you use sun sticks for your face and body separately, you can use sun sticks more hygienically.
